About

On one hand, I’m a wife, mother and grandmother with 2 dogs just trying to keep up.  On the other, I’m a disaster volunteer with the Greater Kansas Chapter American Red Cross, former Board Member of Tulsa Partners, founding Board Member of the Natural Hazard Mitigation Association and Research/Technical Writer for a Hazard Mitigation Planning firm in Oklahoma.  My focus in this part of my life is on finding and SHARING information on how to be better prepared to handle a wide variety of diasters/emergencies – and how to make them “not quite so bad”.

I believe that Information is Power – but only if you share it!  I enjoy seeking out jewels of wisdom and information and passing them on to my family, friends, co-workers…anyone who will listen.

I hope you enjoy my random ponderings.  Woody’s Web articles can also be found in the Tulsa Partners Newsletter — I’m proud to say I’ve been writing this column for almost 2 years now, and hope to continue for a long time to come.  There may be other tid-bits and morsels shared here — we’ll just have to see now, won’t we?

The only thing I ask in return is that you share these little treasures too.  Even if you share with just one person, I’ll have accomplished my goal.
